Fantastic article! I was never into T20 until the past weekend ;-) when my fav Dravid was the hero :P ... couldn't ask for more.. Although i couldn't see all of his innings since it was my cousin's first piano recital during which I almost fell asleep (LOL)... oh well i had skipped my lunch and that made it all the more difficult to stay up... but nonetheless it was an eventful weekend with the weather so amazing + Cricket + good south indian foood! yummmm... I was a lil upset the way the Delhi vs. Punjab match ended - would have loved to see more play in action than the stupid D/L system which I still don't understand.. I am already hooked on to today's RC vs. SK game ... wish I could watch it at work.. may be will give it a shot ;-) ... its raining here and rain predicted in PE too :-(... hope it doesn't! as for the author's comment on Bengali Sweets or Andhra meals, I dont know if I can forego Bengali Rosogolla for a game of cricket... just the thought of it is making my mouth water... may be Rosogolla in my mouth + Dravid lofting Murali for a six would be the sweetest combo !!!

I would and should say the article is equally delicious, capturing subtle details, making interesting observations and analysis with a eagle eye view !!!

I fully agree that T20 is not just bang-bang theory and needs adeptness of skills that can vary to a great extent ...In other words there is a breather and hope for everyone.

One of the worries though worth mentioning would be, - would the T20 not become a predictive affair for the plays played near dusk and at a later point, only to be a biased contest in favour of team batting first.? Should the toss be crucial?. Ought it to be crucial ?

It's been a treat to watch the Veterans performing and winning away quite a many battles, only gonna prove a point ..."We Matter "

IPL-2 has been more fun than the first season. Teams are struggling to make runs. Bowling has been the King so far.
