from next year nobody from Indian team will play IPL.Its a promise from my side

India should kick out the players like Suresh Raina who doesn't feel sorrow while losing and making exit from a tournament like World Cup! Do hell with the non-sense called Raina..., when India were struggling for every run in the 19th over... this bullshit Raina was enjoying with his friends and smiling all around at the Lords balcony...., is this the youth spirit....? Is this the Patriotism? While every Indians were tensed and watching the match with a very upset face and also with fast heart-beatings..., many of Indians included me were praying but this really senseless Raina didn't even feel any kind of sorrow and tension while his (our) team was getting out of the World Cup. Raina should be out of Indian team, because he is more serious with his IPL team Chennai instead of the national team India. We won last world cup without Raina and we could win this also if some players like Raina, Jadeja, Ishant Sharma were not included (intersetingly they all were not the members of 2007's World Cup winning team). Bring Sehwag in the team as soon as possible and Sachin Tendulkar should be included as well..., do hell with age factor, because many senior players like Jayasurya, Chanderpaul, Kallis they all are handling this Twenty-20 game very easily then how can u think that the batting maestro Sachin is not suitable for T-20? Sachin is the master of batting and he can destroy any world-class bowling attack and also his experience of playing cricket more than 20 years with handling various situations will definitely help India. Actually 'Sachin Tendulkar' the name is enough to create the oposition's headache and his presence in the Indian team also will keep the oponent under pressure. So I hope the board will make the right decision before it is too late. Let the master-blaster play every format of cricket at the end of his career because we are going to lose him after the ODI World Cup '2011, we will never see the master-class of the genious Tendulkar after less than 2 years..., so let him enjoy his rest of the days of his marathon career.., He has been serving India since 1989 (20 yrs) and it is our duty to make him happy and give him a pleasent exit from international cricket and most importantly india will not be suffering by giving him this chance rather any cricket fan will not disagree that by including Sachin in Twenty-20 squad of India, we will not lose anything and will be the gainer. India can't pay by losing matches in the name of giving chance to some useless youth..., at least Sachin still can play better than Jadeja and Raina but we know the fact that he actually can play better than anybody in the current Indian T-20 squad. We should give the appropriate respect to the master at the time of his 'very close' retirement and should salute him for making the nation proud by his excellent service to the Indian cricket. So it is a good hope and wishing India best of luck.

If it is so difficult then why are u there? Why u are leading the side?? If u feel it is difficult to play cricket for our country then how dare you to be in our national team and how u are still the captain? Take retirement if it is so difficult and give chance to others.... there r many thousands of Indian cricketers are waiting for their turn to knock the door of the national cricket team. Why others should feel the difficulty while u are getting all the money and fame? We are not slected to play for or lead the national team, it is u who is selected and it is your duty to feel the pressure and handle it with the ability by which once u attracted our selectors. Don't talk rubbish and concentrate to reform yourself by removing the errors of your batting and captaincy skills which were far better in your earlier days in Indian team than now.

what do u know about what to do and what not to do. Please shut your dirty mouth first Dhoni, what is the need of inclusion Isanth into playing 11 and why you keep RP at bay who is the leading wicket taker in the last IPL and I read somewhere you were fighitng with selctors regarding RP for not picking him into the national duty during NZ or Aus series. But this time you were not picking him into playing 11 and what is the need of useless youth in the playing 11 who are not giving their 100% to the national team. Can you tell me the one exact reason what is the problem with the living legend, batting mastro, cricket god etc etc... Sachin Tendulkar. I know Isanth is great bowler but in this T20, he is not at his best. So obviously you must include RP or Praveen into playing 11.
Hope you not repeat the same mistakes what you did your in the coming oneday series against WI and coming world T20.

I think IMRAN is not talking about India's losing... rather he is replying on your comment where u decribed your difficulties to play cricket.... read the comment carefully dude and then reply like wise man, and u didn't lose any ordinary tournament rather u lost the World Cup and it is like the sky has fallen on the heads of all Indian fans..., if u were correct as captain as u used to be before IPL-2 and lose any match that could be bearable for us but u made some irritating decisions by dropping some good usefull players (like Irfan, Ojha, Praveen) and appointing some bad useless players (like Ishant, Raina, Jadeja and yourself). After the rift with Sehwag u kicked him out and then u lost the World Cup for us and now how can u hope the Indian fans to be clam down??? People like u don't deserve to be Indian players and captains... just go to hell>>!!!

The IPL level was of low standaras, in IPL Yuvi, Dhoni, Raina, R sharma, Gambir vas playin agaist butterflies, Micky mose, Tom n chocolates. They xpected d same level in T20. It can b clearly stated dat none f d foreign players otr dat doz hu retired put their cent % effort in IPL. Mendis, Jayasurya, Gayle, Mcullum, Bravo, Morkel r clear cut xamples. The vay how Bravo plays now really shows vat his attitude vas towards d IPL. The only difference is dat while Indians put 100% 4 IPL, others put 200% 4 der country.

I saw when the last 3 overs taking place against england when india was batting that suresh raina was sitting on the balcony with some one and sharing jockes - there was no sincierty from him & and he only likes to play in the ipl i think.

IPL has Seperated the Teams moral. Afterall They are the human being. Players also need to rest, need to spend some with family and friends, IPL shedule was absolutly not acceptable, and BCCI should have understand the importance of T20 world cup, and not IPL .

Right analysis. But not playing in IPL is not the solution. Look at australia. They didn;t play in IPL yet perished cheaply in WC.
A better option is for BCCI to schedule IPL such that it leaves sufficient time for the players to recover.
But another important point made by Kirsten .i.e standards og IPL vs that of WC. He's bang on. In IPL bowlers were a mix of quality bolwers as well as first class cricket bowlers. So it was easy for batsmen.

I think we all must send a Thanks letter to Mr. Lalit Modi for two successes in a row : 1) Successful completeion of IPL 2009 and 2) successful tharshout of Team India in ICC T20 World Cup. But he shud be a happy man coz his ego is satisfied that he organized the IPL and also coz he has earned with open hands in IPL 2009. The players and BCCI will never blame IPL coz there pockets and mouths are full of money they got from IPL but we cannot rule out the poor show by the Indian team in ICL T20 World Cup. The amount fatigue was clearly shown in the T20 world cup,
the players with good form are loosing it because of continuous playing.
Dhoni has lost his brain after 2 yrs of continuous captaincy.
I think we need some rest after the tour to the WIndies.

I am sure we will start winning in all format of the game soon, I cannot
wait until the WIndies players get trashed by India in July. It will be a complete
whitewash after the Super 8 incident.

But to keep our fans happy I think India should win againt RSA today.

The problem is not of IPL or World T20 the problem is only the time period between
them -No time to rest. Actually there should atleast be a month's rest between IPL and T20. Its no use discussing after losing. Just be patient and win for the next match. Dhoni as told by most of the commentators and other players is the only non-arrogant player in the world.Its no use of talking about the finished matches and India should and will come out to the top in the next T20 series.Next IPL will be held in India and can be held after the T20.

Great India is knocked out of T 20 worldcup.
Most of our players were not contributing their best to the team.
A few has tried.Dhoni used to be a good decision maker.But this time, he was a complete failure.The match VS West Indies was very easy to win.Infact Dhoni was playing Test Cricket in world cup T 20 match.Its like he lost his confidence.No one know the conspirancy behind Sehwag return to India.
No one is perfect,no one can be in good form all the time.
As an Indian the most painful thing for me is that the stupid useless Suresh Raina was laughing and playing with his dearones when India was in a tough situation. Dont foregt he is part of the team and has played a good role in the match for India to loose the match. IS that Team spirit, patriotism............ For any given reason....... We should not consider Raina in our team again.If i say what is in mind against Raina ...........no one will like .

Actually Indian Team should had 2 good experienced batsmen in the side. If u see South Africa is having Kallis, Gibbs, Boucher and Srilanka is having Jayasuriya,jayawardana,Muralitharan. Even West Indies is having Chanderpaul,Ramnaresh Sarwan, So from the outset had India had 2 experienced batsmen it could have done well.

Absolutely right...IPL will surely kill Indian cricket... dhoni's captaincy at the world cup was a complete failure coz he was captaining CSK 2 weeks back... his tactics were similar to that of CSK tactics for eg., he preserved Albie and Oram for the last 5 overs similarly he wanted to preserve UV and YP for the last 5 overs and that decision cost us the match....Compare the decisions taken by dhoni at T20 WC 2007 with that of 2009....In 2007 he was brave, confident, positive but in 2009 he was too cautious, negative attitude....CSK had negative impact on dhoni's captaincy....you need to know the strength and weakness of your players...IPL had made an ordinary player like R Jadeja to look like a super star...No questions on his ability but he is not matured enough to play at international level at this point in time....IPL should be looked like a domestic competition only like Ranji trophy...if a player hit 200 in ranji he is not sure of getting into the side...but a player hit 2 sixes in an over in IPL he gets the tag of future player, next generation player, young guns.....dats stupid...you should only identify a potential resource from IPL like Manish pandey, abhishek nayer and develop them as a cricketer...dont take them directly from IPL to WC...its like clearing entrance exam and getting degree...

T20 WC is responsible for the rise of IPL, Ironically IPL is responsible for the fall of Indian cricket......

Dhoni and the entire team have eaten lots of money to lose the match against eangland for instance when in the last over there were two balls left and india needed 9 runs pathan hit a shot and instead of trying to run for 2runs these guys were strolling on the pitch and just took a single just imagine if they had gotten two runs and on the last ball if pathan had hit a sx then the senario would have been diffferent, thats why he(dhoni) was consoling pathan and promising him a bigger share in the booty after the game.

Go and see your own face at mirror, it is looking like an ass after you completed your comment by insulting the two true legends of Indian cricket history ('Master-Blaster' and 'The Wall' or 'Mr. Dpendable'), you will never get any great title like these two had earned for them... they proved themselves as the most gentlemen of World cricket be their game-playing ability, honesty, equality to all fellow players.. yes Sachin and Dravid has the ability stand for a marthon innings even in a match of 200 overs, but hater and joker like u will get out in the first over even in a 200 overs match. Rahul and Sachin can play better than Dhoni even in T-20, they proved it in IPL... they both made 2 half centuries with more than the strike rate of 150.00, Sachin made some 365 runs and Dravid also is not far but he missed some matches bacuse of his 2nd son's birth but what the hell you Dhoni did? u always batted with the strike rate of 80.00 even in (IPL) T-20 and how many runs u made? huh? luckily because of Hayden and Muralidaran u reached semi fainal otherwise u are a big looser now a days. U lost your all charm as a former captain-cool, former explosive batsman, one of the best wicket keeper batsman.. so learn to respect the legends and your seniors then only God will be happy with you and He will return your lost charm backm, instead of insulting the legends why don't u concentrate on your batting and captaincy skills, find out the mistakes and try to soilve the problem with some senior's advise... this will help u and also will help our country's cricket.

All players are not interested. i consider few factors
1) Not sure why Ishath sharma has been picked for this match, even he is not having better track of previous matches. Sack this guy, all are half pitch balls.
2) why cant dhoni given ball to Zaheer/rp singh inspite they are doing best to their spell. 3 overs 13 runs for Rp,
3) Dhoni batting style is very bad, he never shown his batting skills in this match. not sure what he is thinking ?
4) after 15 overs, they are not ready to take charge, still needed, 5 overs 60+ runs ..

My suggesion to remove the guys for a while and let india play with others who doen well in IPL.

How damn shameless people are u like MAYA, even after India exit of World Cup by the culprit Dhoni's big big mistakes u shameless and senseless people are still praising the selfish Dhoni? How so stupid people can be? Don't go for Dhoni's look and style... his style is also started to fade with some white beards and hairs. Do u want to count Dhni's mistakes because of what India is out of World Cup race??? Then count the mistakes... here they are---- Sehwag's issue, Irfan Pathan should have been playing against England, Ishant Sharma needed to be dropped, Jadeja should have not been promoted ahead of Yuvi and Yusuf in a big match, Ojha shouldn't be replaced by jadeja, letting Ishant Sharma bowl all 4 overs even after beaten expensively by every West Indies and England batsman, missing run outs, catches and wide forus as wicket keeper, trying to hit the ball for ground shot even in 19th and 20 over, taking more strike than in form explosive batsman Yusuf pathan, underestimate Irfan's economical and successful bowling against West Indies, not completing RP Singh and Zaheer's full 4 overs ahead of Ishant Sharma.

I understand your concern guys and seeing india exiting early in the tournament is really heartbreaking as we expected a lot from them and as they were in stupendous form in the IPL. But sometimes it so happens that we expect somethng and in reality it turns out to be a disaster. just as wht happened to India. Thy strtd their tourny wid their guns blazing out but couldnt capitalize in the later part. This bcoz of lack of application. Moreover we cant scapegoat someone lyk raina or rohit or dhoni, its the failure of complete team. So we need 2 support them whn d team is in difficult situation just as it is nw. Afterall no oneplays fr a loss.

Even the best performers can not be "in the mood" on a given day. Unfortunately, Dhoni and his team had this "kill-the-mood bug bite." So they were just not themselves when they played England. I suggest that some "good anti-bugs (verbal tonics (not drugs, mind you)" before a match would help elevate the moods to put up better performances. The post match would only invite more "kill-the-mood" bugs after an important match is lost. I guess the captain has to shield himself and his team from these bugs and provide the "WE-WILL-WIN tonic" to the team. If the leader himself gets sick with the bugbite and it shows in his poor performances consistently in the next 3-4 matches, then HE does NEED to lay off for sometime until he gets cured. Continue with him and India will have a team low on morales and performance will be far down the capability standards of the team. India has witnessed this with EVERY captain and every change has always made India come back with a bang until the bug-bite sickness affects the NEW captain. What ya say?

Grow up Kirsten, grow up... Dhoni says fatigue and IPL was not the reasons for the failure and you are saying the opposite. This itself shows that there is a clear difference of opinion and strategy within the team, the foremost being between
the coach and the captain.
