chennai ... has a good batting line up than other teams.. We are blessed to have Hayden at the top , highest run getter in the tournament .. But , the way chennai players bowled yesterday was really shocking...Dhoni shd have tried with Raina in 18th , morkel in 19th and again Raina in last over.Balaji bowling was horrible to see in 19th over. We had a huge total on the board.. but chennai failed to defend KKR .. Some bowling changes shd happen in team...
All the best for Next game....

CSK's batting is the best in the side and there is no
doubt about it. Hayden didnt play yesterday, if he was
there then 200+ was assured against KKR.

Like mentioned above Balaji is CSK's highest wcket taker.
1 Match does not mean he is bad. I also agree that Oram is pretty
useless and Ntini can be played instead.

CSK played with their worst or their kind of 'RESERVE" team yesterday,

I just made a criticize of the bad thinking of Dhoni..okay..!!! I didn't say u asked Dhoni to take singles... but u answered like an idiot...! Saha was not extra-ordinary thru the torunament but his extra-ordinary batting in that particular match helped his team to win and that day they were so dedicated that they wouldn't care even if Hayden would have played the match... it seems that Hayden was never out on duck when he was batting succesfully? Don't forget the debut match of Irfan Pathan... Hayden played fantastically in the first Test's both innings with double century and a half century but even though in the 2nd Test Irfan got his first Test wicket on his debut by getting Hayden out on a duck! At the end... I want to say that it was Kolkata Knight Riders' day that day, no 1 could stop them to win that match even 5 batsmen like Hayden couldn't stop them from acheiving their target... Dhoni should change his batting thinking, I support 'Australian' what he said on his comment.... this is utter bull-shit to try singles in last over... the last ball of 20th over... how he played that ball??? The way he tried to play that ball shows his lack of pure thinking capacity... poor cricket by Dhoni in last over.... for sure! But the decision of taking the strike when Raina was got out was a right descision because he Dhoni was a set batsman at that time and it is better to face maximum bowls by a set batsman! Australian was right to say that because of utter good-lucks Dhoni is getting the success as a captain otherwise he is a very poor descision maker on many ocasions... specially when batting and when preparing the batting order! Dhoni should change his poor thinking of slow batting (even in last over, even in a T20 match's last over???), he should understand that he will get chance to bat slow and show his batting ability in Test matches, in T20 if u make some runs like 30s with a good strike rate like above 130.00 is better than a half century or century with the strike rate of 100.00 or bellow... now a days ODIs are also changed so Dhoni should be batting in ODIs like he used to play in his earlier days in cricket...!!! Hope Dhoni will understand this and the almighty will help him to think better!

balaji's over was a disaster.. but keep in mind he is a yorker specialist.. even the champion bowler may be taken for runs on a given day..remember he was the 1st one to take a hat-trick in IPL.

ofcourse he was not used in correct situation..

Dhoni has just changed his role from being a blaster to being an anchor man. Any form of cricket needs a partnership. We all know what he is capable of(Dont forget his batting style before he became a captain) and what he can do on his day. He just wants to stay there and make others play. Venky, u r wrong... we all know how Dhoni was b4 becoming captain, but we r saying his slow batting style in ODIs and specially in T20s are becoming the big negative cause to his team...! He should think that he is not playing Test match...!!! in T20... uhave no time to start slowly and then go after the bowls... we have seen many times the batsman are getting out who starts their innings slowly and try to acclerate the run rate later... so if a batsman takes 20 balls to make 10 runs and then get himself out... it is a negative cause to his team and that is totally useless... which Dhoni is doing now a days that's why he is useless! He should change his thinking about T20 cricket and for ODIs also... okay in ODI try to rotate the strike if your team loses 3-4 earlier wickets but in that case Dhoni is never doing good when top order fails in ODIs, we saw it in Asia Cup 2008 Final, again in the Final match against Pakistan in Bangladesh in 2008 and many more matches he couldn't win matches if top order fails... it is Sehwag, Gambhir, Sachin and Yuvraj's performance by which Dhoni is winning the matches u can't under-estimate the performance by the bowlers like Zaheer and Bhajji also, in Sri Lanka this year Yuvraj, Sehwag and Gambhir along with Zaheer, Praveen Kumar and Bhajji won the series for India, Dhoni did nothing...!!! In Australia in 2007 VB series Final.. in both Finals Sachin made a century and a 90+ runs and a good bowling performance by Pravin Kumar India beat Aussies in their home for the 1st time.. in that series also... Dhoni did nothing...! he never made a century after become captain and only 3 times he made half centuries where only 1 time India won when he scored a half-centry that is in Sri Lanka in this year and that was happened after India already had won the series!!! Dhoni always hopes that Viru and Gambhir should give him the platform and they are doing on maximum times also but if they don't do in 1 or 2 matches he should play good... u can't hope that a batsman can bat good always for his captain.. 1 or 2 ocasions it is normal that a good batsman also can be fail... but whenever India or CSK loosing the matches Dhoni blames either the bolwers or the top order batsmen.. he never thinks that he is also a batsman and he should play sensible cricket with good strike rate above or equal to 100.00 to win ODIs and T20s.

It is important for Dhoni to learn from Shane Warne and avoid harsh criticism of team members. Morale is important if the team wants to be victorious.

Dhoni has been very polite to their team from the Match-1 but this the time that he has no other options rather than blowing out his feelings....He is harsh sometimes but then its part of his duty.

Hey sup? Was just reading the comments you guys have written so far... very insightful indeed. However you guys should really work on your language skills and grammar... use of tenses, prepositions and sentence structuring is appealing really!

Anyways coming back to the IPL i feel bringing in Gony for the final 3 matches including today's match against Punjab, will be a fruit bearing move for the CSK. He was brilliant last season and may prove very effective at this stage. I wonder why he sitting on the bench. Is he injured or something?

Also the batting order is outstanding with Hayden as usual leading from the front. Apart from the bowling i feel fielding should be worked on as well to compensate for the poor bowling from time to time.
