its a proven fact that Sachin never performs under pressure..He just plays for his own records which inturn gives him more money.
In the 2003 world cup, ur so called great batsman was in great form in the league phases..but what did he do in the finals..got out in the first over against Mcgrath..coward..never fights it out in crunch situations..In the 2007 wc, he couldnt perform against Bangladesh too...that shows his so called greatness...So shut ut mouth nd check the facts..
He had said in 2007 that 20-20 is a young man's game and his body wont accept it...so he pulled out of the T20world cup...but when IPL came around, he jumped into it..its shows his character..puts money before country...what can such a experienced player achieve playing in the IPL..only money..
He is like a dog..u throw a piece of bone(money in his case) and he will come running for it...

The statement about indian fans is wrong.Onething i want to tell to sachin tendulkar -- indian cricket fans keeps some expectations on indian team ,if there performance is below the level of there expectations then there will be reaction.In the moment ,when aussies team is in flow of victory ,and defeat the indian team, no fan is reacted.Indian team looks like as if it eassily enter into finals.They entered as defending champions but there performance is not like that.Really,every cricket player should keep on mind,no indiancricket fan hurts u,if u really do a fight to win.
As it become like story,once a long time we win the world cup and till now we dont have worldcup.Sachin tendulkar can give answer to this.
now i think t20 world cup will also become as once upon a time............

i'm really sry for all d guys who have commented above!!!!!!if you all keenly follow cricket then u must be knowing how a team selection would be done.....cricket is not a one man show....its a show of 11 players who put there heart in it and play.....no player or team would like to put down there country on a world stage.....it do happen sometimes..............

and why d hell are you bringing sachin in?????he is such a good player,who have won many matches for India... and why do u want dhoni to stop acting?????of the short gap they get in between the series and of short term holidays they have they try to earn some money in that holidays!!!!!!!it's really so rude to criticize him!!!!!!!!u guys mean making money a crime....making money has nothing to do with cricket......he got into adds in the gap he have got but he didn't leave cricket and go for it

Dhoni Should think twice before he selects the playing Eleven. After losing the match, he puts the blame on Selection committee. What the hell was he doing before finalising the playing eleven. We understand that we can't win all the time, but there should be some fight when you lose it. At least you need to win 1 out of 3 when you are the defending champions.

Why would they expect the fans to be mature,and patient when they pocket all their earnings and enjoy the stardom, Z-category securities offered to them. When someone hails them as kings & prince they seem to accept it happily and greedily. Let them face the brunt of the situation and in my opinion they are entitled to. Ofcourse losing is part of the life but the way of losing and reptition of losing is what the common argues about. Beware cricketers ! you cant take fans for granted after all they are source of the luxurious life you are leading right now....

@ rajuji - i'm asking have u seen ipl2. scoring 22 is not too bad 4 u but u havenot considered his strike rate in these matches. he's scoring just above 100 in all matches except in 1 or 2 matches . he managed that 100 strike rate also with some lucky edge boundaries. He is worst batsmen , he forgot his batting completely. even bhajji is 10000 times better than him. Even his keeping is also becoming worse(see wc matches) . so plz remove dhoni n send back 2 ranjis if he performs then take him again. Plz give chances to new players like naman ohja,manish pandey,virat kohli, jakati etc.

Sachin plays only for money..there is no other way to explain why would someone play in the IPL and not for the country..only wants money...
Why has he pulled out of the West Indies tour..If he was injured during the IPL he should have rested then and be ready to play for the country..he is selfish and never plays for the country..
As long as he is around indian cricket will never move forward..

SACHIN should play in the Indian T20 team as well... last time he kept out coz of injury but he should hv played this time. he is such a key player in any format of the game. he can just hang in the middle and the whole team can play around him. if we see, this was exactly the prob with our team... none of the batsmen were able to play through 15 to 16 overs and the new batsmen coming in never had a proper chance to get their eye in as thr was nobody batting fluently at the other end. Tendulkar would have provided a lot of stability to the complete team...
Instead of these irresponsible young lads (rohit sharma, suresh raina, ravindra jadeja) the selectors should select all time greats like Sachin and even Rahul Dravid, who is more responsible, matured, experienced and who can easily adapt to the changing cricketing conditions.

internally just want to see the defeat because MSD rise. He can't digest to see the rise of a man who came from small and reach to the hight where no sportsman reached in india. He is a spoiler in the team.

when u want to become a no.1 team the team should develope consistancy indian is never consistant in any form of cricket.oneday they play like champions and they next day they play like minnows.so donot call the team as no 1 unless they show consistancy over a period of time. cven the media is spoiling the players. if a batsman scores a century in a international match immediately they compare him a suchin or snny and the player will be treated as a superstar though he is just an average player.there are somany unknown players in other teams who are much better than our so called world class players.so i request the media not to attach the world class player tag to cach and every indian player

I Agree Mr Tendulkar, but fans must be responsible when the team wins, a parade on Mumbai roads ( T20 win 2007) is equivalent irresponsible attitude, these players were enjoying the success that time,
They should tell the fans of not overdoing things

We cannot win every tournament or match and we are bound to do mistakes, but during those good days when you win, keep the failures in mind.

Players must balance it out before advising fans to do so,

i think we should not blame the team.It is one man's mistake/Ego took us to failure.

But as our masters comments we will come back with bang.If that one man realises his mistakes and take necessary action.

The one man is -Dhoni

We could not see the old days dhoni the reason is now a days he is getting more money and he dont want to hear to any ones comments/ideas.I think when you grow up you should be quite and polite.I think dhoni needs to consult a sycho Dr.
I personally feel even Yuvi got some attitude problem.
For WI we should send the team under the captaincy of Gambir if shewag is not available.We should exclude Dhoni and include the youngster pandey.if this is done we will definetly win the cup.

If you were a true sachin fan, you would have realised that my comment actually says that you CANNOT compare Sachin and Saurav in the same breath as cricketers. However, since your emotions have got the better of your reading ability, i will forgive the lapse...ha ha! But it just re-emphasises my poont - people dont want to really get into the game. 20-20 is a format where no one can be champion. There will be a new winner every day. Any Ireland and Scotland can cause upsets. At the end of IPL except for KKR all other teams had won half the matches and lost half. This team has given us some wonderful winnings since last 2 years. We Indian fans should mature and show restraint. It would be demoralizing for our team to get such bashing from fans for a few bad days.

I agree wid u Abhishek. Sachin shows so much emotions in the field with Mumbai Indians but when playing wid Indian team reacts as if he is only attached professionaly and not emotionally to the game.Sachin I respected u a lot but ur decision to leave the Indian team when u r required the most is really pathetic. It reminds me of a saying that when a ship sinks mice r d first one to abandon it.

Dhoni did great mistake to select the team, at present see other teams they have experience batsman and bolwer like younis khan, vittori,razak,etc they play good cricket but we have great player like sachin we are made mistake we are not selet them. as per my suggetion Dhoni shoul no ( Old is Gold)

Wat d f was that Mr."classical"? When Dhoni was winning people like u were ready to suck his d...k and now when he is loosing u r giving some non professional comments. How does it matter to cricket if Dhoni is dooing ads of various brands. It is a way a celebrity is treated be it in India or any where else. Dhoni is not the only one and not the first to come advertisements. I feel people like u r jealous of him and people like him just because u have not done nothing in life. Dhoni surely has taken wrong decisions in T20WC and along wid him whole Indian team are on the faulty side but criticizing them like this will take Indian cricket no where, so be sensible and try not to puke ur frustation of ur personal life on them.Well I think intenet is a boon for people like u who can take their frustation out widout disclosing their identy.

I think the captain(role) responsibility is putting the pressure on the MSDhoni, this makes him incomfort in playing the big shots.
