I accept that sehwag is not selfish and a good player , but Dhoni is not a selfish player, atleast he stays till the end . He plays the perfect role of captian. We have won several tournaments under Ddhoni's captaincy. No other captain have produced such a result for India. I don't know whether there is a clash between Dhoni and Sehwag but all of us here are fighting for them.

Excuse me guys. Please do not assume things. Lets give judgement by the false reports of media that there are rifts in Indian cricket team.
Sehwag is one of the best players. However, he was not able to shine in IPL season 2. It might be due to injury. If his injury is not co-operating him to play, how can you people assume that Sehwag is returning because of the rifts.
First of all this media should change. Those idiots assume and give false news to people to increase their circulation. We believe them without analysing. Please think and lets go in positive way.

Or will dhoni play me alongside him and make me keep while he rests in the sideline, i cant be the parthiv patel as was for his chennai side.
Or the worst thing might be, he will make me the bench and ask me to keep during his net practice.

For one thing is sure i can hit longer sixes than dhoni as i proved during the IPL.

Sehwag is undoubtedly a match winner and he remains the same from the begining of his career. Rahul and saurav doesn't lost theri place becoz of Dhoni. Thier poor form made them out of that game. Also Sachin wanted to give youngsters a chance to play in T20. So he himself opted out to play. If he wanted to play in T20, selectors are ready to take him and even Dhoni said he had missed sachin's experience in T20. It is really true that Sehwag can bat single handedly and win for his team. But cricket is not single man's game like tennis. The days which Indian team depend upon only one or two players had gone away under the captaincy of Dhoni. okie..you came up with the facts..that's true either. But according to the selectors, youngsters were performing better than them in the field as well as in batting at that time. Accordingly in dravid's last season he managed to score just 51 runs in 6 matches and in ganguly's last season he scored only 216 runs in 9 matches (including 86 runs in an innings, means just 130 runs in 8 matches). Hence they dropped them. Previously selectors doesn't had too many options if star players failed to perform. But after youngsters justified their selections, they had many options and dropped dravid and ganguly. That's the fact. What to do with Dhoni here? Am not a great fan of Dhoni and am not against Dravid or Ganguly. Now the team is playing better than ever... Have you seen what happened when Zaheer played against bangladesh by not being fit? He was not able to deliver what he wanted to. Same case for the sehwag also. Even I don't know the exact situation in India's camp. Both of them (Dhoni and Sehwag) have never talked about each other either in the field or off the field. So there is no need to respect the analysed media statements. I am not understanding why you people are argueing on an issue in whicu we don't have any control !. What i believe is that team India have enough bench strength to replace any of it's players. Sachin is not in this T-20 team and Pushker Pandey is saying about this very Indian T-20 team,,,, and in this team Sehwag is more, more and many moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....... famous than anybodly else. Viru is known as the most dangerous and destrutive batsman in the world. Bowler like Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Sami, Glenn McGrath they all were threat for Indian batting but Sehwag became threat for all of them, Sehwag hit them a way that they will have nightmeres for many years, Sehwag is like a roaring lion infront of all well reputed bowlers...!!! Specially Viru becomes more dangerous while he bat against Shoiab Akhtar and other Paki bowlers also. God gives everybody some good days and watch how he utilizes his given good days... if the man do fair when he is powerful than God will give him more..., otherwise all the powers are in the allmighty God's hand... and He can take back all the charm he has provided to Dhoni as captain. Bad time for dhoni has started....He himself elevated his bating order to play more time in the games. He is gradually fadding away. Tendulkar had told in the media that Sehwag should take rest. I am not sure but i think sachin is also playing against sehwag.
I think all this started due to IPL and playing against each other.

Time is coming sehwag will replace dhoni as captain.

All I'm getting at is that it's not fair to say that under Dhoni's captaincy Dada & Dravid left. If so and age was the only factor (and not performance) then then surely Sachen & Zaks would be out. Ego or no ego I'm sure Dhoni will agree that Veeru is better than him and if anyone had to leave the team from performance point of view it would have been Dhoni. Come to think of it Both Dada and Rahul performed better in IPL 2. I think that it's just co-incidence that Dada and Dravid left when Dhoni got captaincy. Remember Dada said that Dhoni is a good captain. He would not have said this if Dhoni chased him out.

I am a Sehwag fan (more than Doni) but believe that it is truely injury that sent him out.

Dhoni does not have enough power to kick Sehwag out (expecially after his 300 runs at 100% strike rate in a test), on that note I believe it really is Sehwag's injury that sends him out.
On better note this is India's cup ego and all I don't think Dhoni or any other members of the team are prepared to let go of it.

Sehwag is the main batsman who can give good start with Gauti. Also he has the ability to hit the ball outside the ground aginst spinner or pacer. It is going to be big pain for India in future matches. If there is any clash between Dhoni and Sehwag which need urgent attention by Team Management. Else we are in big trouble. Dhoni is a good captain it is becoz others performing well as per his expectation. I don't think Dhoni grown that much to push out Sehwag from the squad.

The absence of sehwag in playing 11 is not going to cost us because we have inform rohith sharma or yousuf patan as a opener.And the other thing is jadeja or ojha got an oppurtunity to prove themselves in playing 11.In the mean time it is better that BCCI replace MANISH PANDEY or ABHISHEKH NAYAR in place of sehwag for backup.We are going to face strong teams in super 8.The opponents are strong this time but INDIAN team is always stronger.

I guess its a problem with Sehwag's attitude. Even John Wright complained about the same after he finished his stint with Indian team as a coach. During series between World XI and Australia XI earlier, Wright was the coach for World XI team & he also commented about Sehwag's attitude towards game and team mates. Agreed that Sehwag is bowler's nightmare....but that doesnot put him above team. If you dont have the correct attitude towards team and team members, even if you are Sehwag or Symmonds you are perfect candidate to be kicked out of your respective team. We have enough batsmen but there is no dangerous, dashing, explosive, winner, champion, attacking and successful batsman like Sehwag. I hv played cricket at a fairly good level like university n all n for company, Whenever I see dhoni batting I also start thinking how difficult it is to bat n score singles, acts as if going to hit outta town n manages jus a single, looks like a bangladeshi batsman in INDIAN jersey.
